I had a birthday party this year, and it was a luau theme. I invited several of my good friends to our house to celebrate.

I started Division II Soccer this spring, and I was a little worried about the competition. We played a very good team, the red team in week 1. I was able to play offense, defense, and midfield. I liked midfield the best because you can play both offense and defense in one position! It was a lot of running, which I like to do.
My coach is Stefano. He is very good at soccer. He is from Italy and I hope to learn a lot from him.
It was a great game! We won 4-0. I look forward to next week’s game.

I’m excited for Christmas to come! I’ve asked Santa for some very cool things this year, including Monster High Dolls, a Leappad Tablet, more books to read, and some Wii games.
I have off from school during the holidays, which is great! I’ll miss seeing my friends, but I get to play with the toys I’ll be getting from Santa.

I just began going to a science lab at school and we do lots of experiments. It’s the first time I’ve ever done something like science experiments. I made slime, I tested how oil and water mix, I even made slime worms. One of my best friend is in the class with me, and we have a great time.
Based on what I learned, I get to help my dad make green slime for his Halloween costume. I look forward to more experiments in our science lab! I didn’t know science could be that fun.

I visited the Adventure Aquarium last week with my family and friends. We had a great time!
My favorite part of going was seeing the seal show. They are very smart.
I also saw penguins, sharks, sting rays, jellyfish, crabs, and hippos.
I can’t wait to go back soon.

Last week, I went to Sahara Sam’s in New Jersey. It’s an indoor waterpark. It was a lot of fun.
My favorite thing to do was to go down the water slides. There was a slide that I was able to go down with my friends. It was very fun.

Yesterday, we went to see the Trenton Thunder play baseball. It was very hot at the game. I almost fell asleep during the game, but I woke myself up before I fell asleep.
They were playing the Seawolves from Erie. I don’t where Erie is, but they very good. They were beating the Thunder when I was leaving, but I just saw that the Thunder won in the bottom of the ninth inning 13-12! I almost caught a ball, but I wasn’t close enough.
I saw Boomer and Strike, the mascots for the Trenton Thunder. They were funny.
I look forward to going to more games!

I love summer. My favorite activity in the summer is swimming! I love diving, which I am just learning to do.
I can now do backflips in the water. I learned that very quickly. By the way, I can also do front flips. I learned that first.
I can also swim in the deep end, which is 6 feet deep. I’m becoming a good swimmer.

Last Friday, it was Field Day at my elementary school. My favorite part was the Tire Roll. My dad worked at that station.
There were water games, library games, gym games, and cafeteria games.

When we were at Hilton Head, I found a starfish. I found it on the beach. It was alive, but it died before I could put it in the water.
We took it home. It’s arm is almost broken.
Here are my tips for drying a starfish:
1. Bleach it.
2. Let it dry and harden.
3. Admire it.
4. Take it to school and show your friends.
