The Morning Buzz Weekly Show

"Captain's Crunch" Segment

Produced the "Captain's Crunch" segment, which is where the captains of our school's sports teams and extracurricular clubs were interviewed. I was in charge of the segment for most weekly shows where I coordinated interviews, interviewed the captains in the segment, edited footage, and produced the show's final cut.

Anchor of the Morning Buzz

As the anchor, I was the on-air personality for the weekly show, while also being heavily involved in writing the show's script and editing footage in post-production. In addition, I was responsible for brainstorming the segments for that week and writing the final script for each segment.

Coordinator - Special Segments

When in charge of special segments, my responsibilities included writing the script, editing video, and meeting a tight deadline for completion. I had full control over the segment theme, which enabled me to utilize my creativity to weave a fun segment into the show.

For example, I created a brand new segment called "The Bulldog Autofill" which matched Google's autocomplete functionality with school keywords. I pitched the idea to my teacher, was given approval for the segment, and then produced and edited the final segments.

Student and Staff Interviews

Hallway interviews were based on segment questions for the week (selected by the TV production staff). Depending on the episode, I would either conduct or shoot the interviews. I would also edit footage in post-production and help produce the final cut.
